FAQ

What is one of your most important goals of this blog?

We like to preserve all of our memories of board games and posts in this website, much as possible. We have people who contributed these posts and they have been credited accordingly. Despite the ton of text you see, these photos also come from way back too.

What type of board games do you blog?

We can blog from a variety of categories. Here’s a list of a few of them.

Board games, that require a set up, trading card games, action games, puzzles, arcade games, board games in video gaming culture, electronic games and other physical games.

Specific genres (for reference)

  1. Strategy games: These games require players to make tactical decisions to outmaneuver their opponents and achieve a specific goal.
  2. Party games: These games are designed for large groups and focus on social interaction and entertainment.
  3. Cooperative games: In these games, players work together as a team to achieve a common objective, often against the game itself.
  4. Deck-building games: Players construct their own deck of cards during the game, using it to compete against others or achieve specific objectives.
  5. Eurogames: These are typically characterized by simple rules, indirect player interaction, and emphasis on strategy and planning.
  6. Abstract games: These games focus on pure strategy and often have simple rules and minimal luck or theme.
  7. War games: These games simulate historical or fictional military conflicts and often involve strategic planning and tactical decision-making.
  8. Trivia games: Players answer questions to demonstrate their knowledge of specific topics or general knowledge.
  9. Roll-and-move games: Players roll dice to determine how far they can move their game piece, often with the goal of reaching a specific destination.

Do you blog, just straight up board games?

As far as we’re concerned, not just board games. We even blog physical games that are packaged, and items such as electronic scoring games, board games that would be featured in video games and arcade games.

Do you sell any board games?

No, we do not sell any board games we present on our website. Though, we link storefront pages so you can buy them from there.

Are you open for trading board games?

No, we are not. Trading Board Games is not our thing, and it takes a lot of work into send packages to you. So, we cannot provide trading services. Nor, we don’t offer trading cards if by any we share on this blog.

Can I suggest any Board Games that you can add to the blog?

Yes. You can contact us for what you would like to see on our website. If we don’t have that particular board game, you can send photos and tell us what you think about that board game you own, though this is completely optional. This rule will be fine, as long as we also have the game we can review on ourselves, which we most likely do as we love collecting many board games.

Is there any affiliation with this website?

We are not sponsored, nor affiliated by any real brands promoting board games. We are an affiliate of a few companies who sells or acts as a reseller. (There are two different definitions here). This blog however, is partnered by a few bloggers out there. Team B.F.F Gamers Association 3.5. and the Connect Party Channel has partnered with us to curate even more board games out there. There are also several contributors who formerly had a blog, are and is willing share their board games they own on this website as well, so there is more content for you to enjoy.
